  • Permanent full time | 35 hours from Monday - Friday between 9am - 6pm 
  • Located in Sydney CBD (currently working from home)

Your Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to make a difference and work in the team raising funds to ensure Mission Australia has the revenue needed to keep our incredible programs running. 

The role is a combination of inbound and outbound calls, responding to emails and administration work. With a strong attention to detail and focus on processes, compassion and efficiency, you will work in a friendly high performing team that was recently recognised as the 2020 NSW Fundraising Team of the Year.

Your key responsibilities include: 

  • Call existing supporters to update details, request donations, and make welcome or thank you calls
  • Answer inbound calls, manage queries, cancellations and complaint handling 
  • Respond to emails from a shared inbox 
  • Contribute to the achievement of Supporter Relations income generation and provide outstanding customer service at every opportunity
  • Update and maintain information in the Microsoft CRM database
  • Perform general administration tasks

This opportunity would suit a graduate or as an entry level role in the fundraising sector, as well as someone who already has experience in fundraising.

Requirements for Success

  • Experience in a customer service / supporter relations / call centre or telemarketing role   
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Maintain confidentiality, self-motivation, initiative and be an excellent team player
  • Strong attention-to-detail to maintain accurate information 
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook
