Your Opportunity

Ready to make a splash? As the FRIENDS Resilience Program Coordinator, you'll energise schools with dynamic resilience programs that help kids kick anxiety to the curb, boost their confidence, and shine with social skills! You'll be the lively connector between contractors, schools, Mission Australia, and Uniting Vic/Tas, ensuring everything clicks perfectly to create a positive and impactful learning experience for all!

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Liaise with schools and contractors/facilitators to ensure efficient scheduling
  • Implement appropriate measures to identify need and to offer the program in an equitable manner across the municipality
  • Oversee the training and induction of employees/facilitators
  • Support facilitators to maintain accurate and concise written records, and capture the required program data
  • Build and maintain positive internal and external relationships
  • Work collaboratively with Uniting Vic/Tas Communities for Children Team and their other Community Partners/Sub-contractors in the delivery of the program

Requirements for Success

  • Tertiary qualifications and experience in Education, Community Services or similar discipline.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly developed administrative skills and the ability to provide support to management of a complex nature.
  • Demonstrated professional approach to the role including maintaining professional boundaries.
  • A positive and person-centred approach with a strong guiding belief about everyone's capacity to self-right and grow within and beyond their current circumstances.
  • Experience in the delivery and/or coordination of the FRIENDS Resilience programs is highly desirable

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
