Your Opportunity
MA is embarking on an exciting new era to help individuals need, we have a 12-month max term opportunity for you to join our PMO team, working across a variety of projects from construction to IT, as the Project Coordinator!
Elevate effectiveness and efficiency through meticulous reporting, seamless project plan implementation, streamlined administration activities, optimised process and practice initiatives, and meticulous key document management.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Apply Mission Australia methodologies and frameworks to ensure orderly and controlled projects
- Assisting in preparing governance reports and project status reports for Project Steering Committees and Portfolio Governance Forums. Meeting preparations and follow up, presentations, road maps, agendas, minutes, maintaining logs and registers
- Maintaining project calendar including key meetings, staff leave and key dates, following up on any actions, managing issues, and escalating where necessary
- Escalating project risks and issues as they arise and actively solving problems as required creatively and in collaboration with the Project team
- Managing the project portfolio reporting schedule as required by the PMO to ensure the right staff are receiving the messages at the right time
- Preparing communication and training materials as directed
- Manage project SharePoint/Team sites
Requirements for Success
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working across complex business projects
- Previous experience working in a similar capacity within large scale projects, involving multiple industries
- Results oriented with ability to deliver results in a controlled and effective manner while consistently moving within Mission Australia's values
- Proactive and positive attitude with a strong desire to learn
- Sound judgment, problem solving and analytical skills with strong business acumen
- Intermediate competency in the Microsoft Office suite of programs including project, Outlook, Teams (SharePoint), PowerPoint
- Advanced competency in Excel and ServiceNow with PMO reporting experience
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
