We have a proud 40-year track record operating in a suite of services including disability accommodation and support, mental health, homelessness, community housing, aged care family and domestic violence, child family, community services and more recently in-home aged care support.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose of this position is to plan and oversee the delivery of Community Aged Care Services for the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) ensuring that services promote independence, quality of life, reablement and wellbeing to ensure that older people remain connected and engaged. This position will lead teams across Northern NSW and Mid North Coast regions and will be preferably based in the Tweed-Ballina region but any location across our footprint will be considered.

This position requires regular travel across the footprint.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Qualification in Leadership & Management and/or Aged Care (or equivalent demonstrated experience)
  • Current unencumbered Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel across the service footprint.
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in a community or aged care setting/service (or similar).
  • Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and Commonwealth Home Support Programme.
  • Ability to interpret and work within relevant program guidelines and to monitor service provision within a given budget and time-frames.
  • Demonstrated strategic and solutions-focused manager with an excellent understanding of how to successfully achieve KPIs
  • An inspiring leader, coach and mentor with excellent people development skills with demonstrated experience leading a team across a multi-site environment
  • Strong organisational, administrative and computer skills
