We have a proud 40 year track record operating in a suite of programs in disability, mental health, homelessness, social and affordable housing, family & domestic violence, child family and community services.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will coordinate the delivery of services to our NDIS services in Tweed Heads and facilitate outcomes for clients and their families by providing a quality person-centred service, delivered with respect and integrity.

ABOUT YOU

You will have previous experience working within an NDIS service or similar and  have demonstrated expertise in services to people with Complex Support Needs eg, Challenging behaviours (behaviours of Concern), High intensity medical needs. You are a compassionate and detail orientated person with a desire to create positive and lasting change in people’s lives.

Criteria:

  • Qualification in Disability, Mental Health, Community Services or other related field at Cert IV minimum.
  • Current unencumbered Driver’s Licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening
  • NSW WWCC
  • Evidence of full COVID19 vaccination
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in comprehensive assessment, planning, provision and evaluation of services for people who have a disability and their carers.
  • Knowledge and experience of working within marginalised communities with complex mental health and physical needs
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both in written and verbal form.
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills including the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capacity to interpret and work within relevant program guidelines and to monitor service provision within a given budget and timeframes
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and well developed interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution/mediation, networking, negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Understanding of social disadvantage and commitment to the rights of Indigenous and other people living with disability.
