ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Coordinator your role is to coordinate the delivery of day-to day services and supports, in a disability 24/7 residential setting, to deliver quality person-centred outcomes whilst ensuring service standards are met and programs are operated within program guidelines. You will facilitate and report on outcomes for clients and their families and take on a leadership role in bringing about a positive and thriving team culture. Some travel will be required as part of the role overseeing services in Coffs Habrour / Northern NSW.

You will be passionate about providing high quality services to our clients, have fantastic coordination skills and experience with the ability to communicate effectively and foster a great team environment. Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.

Criteria:

  • Cert IV in relevant industry qual and/or significant industry experience.
  • Current unencumbered Driver’s Licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening (if applicable)
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in comprehensive assessment, planning, provision and evaluation of services for clients.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the provision of services to people with Complex Support Needs eg, Challenging behaviours (behaviours of concern), High intensity medical needs
  • Significant experience working in a community and/or disability setting/service (or similar).
  • Knowledge and experience of working within marginalised communities with complex mental health, trauma, crisis and physical needs.
  • Understanding of social disadvantage and commitment to the rights of Indigenous and other people living with disability and/or mental illness.
