ABOUT THE ROLE

In this position you will manage the operations of services and programs to ensure they provide quality person-centred services. You will also lead and manage a team of dedicated coordinators and support workers, assisting them to implement best practice approaches to supporting NDIS participants to build their capacity and achieve their identified goals.

You are an experienced manager who wants to join an innovative team to provide leadership to our NDIS services in Grafton and Coffs Harbour. You enjoy the business development side of this type of role and the satisfaction from seeing the business grow and evolve. You will have a background in working with marginalised communities and with complex disability and mental health support needs who strives to empower others.

Criteria:

  • Qualification in Individual Support or other related field at Cert IV and/ or Qualification in Leadership / Management or significant experience in a similar role.
  • Current unencumbered Driver’s Licence.
  • Working with Children Check NSW or willing to obtain.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or Yellow Card – Disability (Qld).
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
  • Demonstrated substantial experience in leading a program or service within a Community, Disability or Mental Health Service.
  • Previous experience in monitoring and reporting key performance indicators.
  • Understanding of social disadvantage and commitment to the rights of Indigenous and other people living with disability and/or mental illness.
