ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced manager for the operations of our Supported Independent Living (SIL) services. You will lead and manage a team of dedicated coordinators and support workers, assisting them to implement best practise approaches to supporting clients to build their capacity and achieve their identified goals.

You are looking to join an innovative team to provide leadership to our NDIS Assisted Living Services in our well established Tweed portfolio. You will have a background in Community Services and working with marginalised communities and with clients who have complex disability support needs. You strive to empower others and get satisfaction from delivering quality, person centred services.

Criteria

  • Qualification in Community Services / Leadership & Management or significant experience in a similar role.
  • Current unencumbered Driver’s Licence
  • Working with Children Check NSW or willing to obtain
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
  • Demonstrated substantial experience in leading a program or service within a Community, Disability or Mental Health Service.
  • Previous experience in monitoring and reporting key performance indicators.
  • Understanding of social disadvantage and commitment to the rights of Indigenous and other people living with disability and/or mental illness.
  • Willingness to participate in a rotating After Hours Roster.
  • This role requires regular travel across all the sites within the portfolio.
