As a frontline contact of MS Plus, we are looking for a welcoming and enthusiastic individual to ensure callers to MS Plus, along with visitors to our Blackburn office have a positive experience whenever they contact us.

You will provide efficient, effective and timely office management and administration support to meet the needs of the executive office. This is a job share role.

Your responsibilities: 

  • As a Business Support/Receptionist some of your key responsibilities would include:
  • Providing front of house reception, including receiving, directing and assisting visitors.
  • Manage incoming calls as part of the Contact Centre and transferring all calls to appropriate staff.
  • As part of the CEO Administration team, arrange and book travel for staff as required.
  • Coordination of procurement including purchase of stationary, office supplies and PPE items.
  • Provide administration support for Property related matters.
  • Office management support as required.
  • The coordination, preparation and distribution of newsletters.
  • Process any ad hoc donations and Membership payments received at reception via EFTPOS.

Skills and experience:

Essential:

  • Strong Customer Service skills.
  • High levels of computer literacy.
  • Be able to work autonomously.
  • Have a high level of attention to detail.
  • The ability to develop rapport & effective relationships with staff & visitors alike.
  • Have 5+ years’ experience in similar roles.

Desirable:

  • Hold a Cert III or above in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Be able to cover the other Business Support/Receptionist during leave.

Pre-employment checks:

If successful, you will need to complete a National Police Check, Working with Children Check and an NDIS Worker Check (and possibly an International Police Check).

We provide evidence-based advice, information, education, employment support, and around the clock support through our residential care services, as well as contributing funds to MS research.
