MSI Asia Pacific is seeking an enthusiastic Fundraising Officer to support our Philanthropy and Individual Giving programs.

The role

As Fundraising Officer, you would join the Fundraising and Communications team, reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, and providing donor care, database management and administrative support across the Philanthropy and Individual Giving programs. This newly created role will support the delivery of an Individual Giving and Philanthropy Fundraising strategy through excellent donor care and data management. 

The role is the first point of contact for our supporters, responding to incoming queries and proactively maintaining donor and organisation records. The role supports the Individual Giving program through the development of reports to support accurate campaign reporting as well as supporting the Philanthropy portfolio with database management, research and administrative support.

About you

We are seeking a proactive and organised individual, interested in a career in fundraising, non-profits or values-driven organisations.

To be successful in this role, you will cultivate warm and meaningful relationships with our incredible donors, have exceptional attention to detail and be an administrative whizz. You will be a team player with strong initiative and interpersonal skills.

Importantly, we are seeking someone who has a passion and enthusiasm for international development and sexual and reproductive health issues and is proudly pro-choice in alignment with MSI values.

Experience and Skills

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as marketing, communications or commerce or demonstrated transferable skills in a similar role
  • Strong customer service skills and excellent communication skills to deliver positive donor experiences
  • High level of digital literacy, including Microsoft Office skills 
  • Experience in data management in a CRM system 
  • Strong data analytical skills with the ability to process complex information quickly 
  • Excellent attention to detail
