Have you ever considered sharing your home with a person with a disability?
My Place is an organisation that works in partnership with each person with a disability to pursue the lifestyle of their choice and to have their individual needs met by people they choose and trust.
My Place is currently seeking families, couples or single people to open their home to an adult or a child on a full time or respite basis.

This support promotes opportunities for people with disability to become a valued and contributing member of their community.
Host Families/Home-sharers/foster carers are not employees of My Place but are rather engaged as volunteers. This allows My Place to offer you a tax-free reimbursement to cover the expenses of sharing your home.
My Place will provide any training required for you to care for needs, and will provide you with ongoing support from one of our Coordinators.
You will need a WA police clearance that is less than twelve months old and be willing to undergo a robust assessment, plus additional screening and have a working with children’s card to become a foster carer.
