We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Officer to join our team in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. The Project Officer will support the coordination of a range of workforce and training programs. This role will have the opportunity to contribute to improving workforce and training opportunities within the sector for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

About the role

The Project Officer, Training will:

• Communicate and engage with stakeholders as required to enable outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and ACCHOs.
• Provide support services for students undertaking training programs organised by NACCHO including ongoing stakeholder engagement with employer, students and other stakeholders
• ensure all requirements are organised for events and training including travel and catering.
• Follow NACCHO processes and procedures that support the delivery of high-quality outputs
• Work efficiently and professionally in a small team and independently within NACCHO to meet expected standards of service and quality.
• Other administration and data entry duties as required.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications are required, however VET or tertiary qualifications in events, project management or administration desirable
• Knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health issues is preferred
