The National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) is the national peak body representing 146 Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs), that provide primary healthcare across Australia.
The NACCHO Public Health Registrar will work as part of the multi-disciplinary NACCHO Clinical team supported by two FAFPHMs. Registrars will work closely with NACCHO program teams and with the broader Aboriginal Community Controlled Health sector. Some travel will be expected, including to visit member ACCHOs.
NACCHO is seeking a motivated and collaborative individual who has excellent verbal and written communication skills, is able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, has knowledge of health research and critical appraisal, is able to think outside of conventional approaches, has a demonstrated ability to advocate and support community-controlled health care, and has an awareness of the National Agreement for Closing the Gap Priority Reforms.
