Nadrasca’s Purpose is to Establish and Develop a Range of Services for People with a Disability. The Position:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations concerning production activities within Nadrasca’s Contract Services business. One of the main objectives of the role is to provide support to employees and to assist in the achievement of employee goals which will aid in maximizing employment potential leading to open employment.

Accountability:

The position is accountable and reports to the Production Coordinator for the efficient, safe and effective delivery of a range of tasks within predetermined budget, quality, and time constraints. The incumbent has authority and discretion to act within established operational and budget guidelines as determined by the Operations Manager and/or other relevant persons, and within the constraints of various legislation, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Knowledge and/or experience of production processes in a manufacturing and supervision environment is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve results.
• Self-motivated and able to work with both minimal direction and supervision.
• A “can do” attitude with a passion to continuously improve.
• Grow the safety culture by leading the Gemba Kaizen program daily and monitoring 5s implementation and audits.
• Effectively utilise raw materials, equipment, and machinery to achieve maximum outcomes.
• Assisting the Production Coordinator to efficiently organise and supervise employees.

Applicants must be prepared to undertake a medical assessment to determine fitness to undertake the inherent duties of this position, if required. All applicants must hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and obtain a Working with Children Check prior to employment.

All relevant staff must provide evidence of unrestricted Australian residential and working visa.
