We are currently seeking a General Manager of Volunteers & Mission to join our dynamic team on a Part Time basis. Working closely with the CEO and leadership team, including Regional Superior of the Congregation, the role will see you driving a Volunteer workforce; providing strong, inclusive leadership that strengthens and facilitates the Mission of Nazareth Care.

What you will be doing

• Developing strategies to attract a diverse group of volunteers
• Designing/delivering orientation and training programs
• Supporting and promoting the Mission and Values of Nazareth Care
• Collaborating with local organisations, schools, agencies, Congregations and Dioceses
• Ensuring compliance with relevant Aged Care Standards
• Reporting on the effectiveness of volunteer programs, service performance, resident outcomes and incidents/hazards
• Implementing group-wide Mission initiatives and events
• Embedding Mission-aligned leadership practices; educating teams and caregivers, often on-site, throughout the organization
• Supporting the continued growth/development of volunteer and pastoral services

About You

• Proven experience in Volunteer Management
  
• Experience in Community Service / Health / Aged Care sectors
• Ability to integrate the Mission and Values of Nazareth Care into regulatory frameworks and training programs
• An understanding of the roles of governance and compliance
• Knowledge of, or preparedness to learn about Catholic Social teaching and National Catholic Safeguarding Standards
• Ability to build relationships between different organisations as well as ministries of the Church and/or Congregation
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on Mission-aligned leadership
