About the Role

To manage community office and supervise Indigenous Community Members to ensure the delivery of effective administration and clerical services to the Community. Provide supervision and training for office based Indigenous workers in office procedures. This role is located in Warburton Community in the Ngaanyatjarra Lands.

Your day-to-day duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Provide administrative support to the Community Development Advisor (CDA/CDP).
  • Supervise and assist Indigenous community members with different activities, such as mail management, airline and courier bookings, telephone answering and message taking, and more.
  • Administer online systems ensuring compliance
  • Supervise and assist in financial duties, such as ordering supplies and services, invoicing and paying accounts, monitoring expenditure in relation to the budget, and any other duties directed by the CDA.
  • Assisting with Case Management.

About You:

  • Sound clerical, reception and banking skills.
  • Ability to work independently, under limited direction.
  • Strong desire to assist the organisation in achieving its goals.
  • Knowledge of Aboriginal culture and history, or willingness to be involved and learn.
  • Knowledge of Centrelink requirements.
  • Ability to maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated high levels of attention to detail.
