About the Opportunity

Currently, Ngaanyatjarra Services has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full time Finance Officer to join the team based in the Perth Office.

This role's duties will include supplier invoice processing and data entry, customer on-billing invoicing and reconciliations, monitoring, and support of accounting processes, and at times; some administrative support.

Key responsibilities

  • Keep track of received data and source documents
  • Assist with the end of year audit sample requests and the preparation of the audit pack.
  • Employee expense reimbursements
  • Contact preparers of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
  • Prepare and sort documents and interpret data to be entered
  • Assist in maintaining an effective and efficient records management system.
  • Prepare ATO Business Activity Statements for Accountant’s review
  • Contribute to a team effort and accomplish related results as required

About you:

  • High level of numeric skill and accuracy
  • Ability to exercise judgement within delegated administrative tasks
  • Effective customer liaison skills and communication skills, in dealing with other staff members and customers and suppliers
  • Ability to treat financial/staff matters with confidentiality, discretion, diplomacy and tact
  • Working Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliations, Electronic Banking
  • Education to Year 12 Certificate, desirable. Minimum basic experience in the field of bookkeeping and/or financial services
