About the Opportunity

Currently, Ngaanyatjarra Services has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full time Project Accountant to join the team based in the Perth Office.

This role is focused on financial management of specific projects and is critical for ensuring that a project remains within its budget, achieves its financial goals, and complies with financial regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Financial management and reporting for various group entities.
  • Assistance with the statutory audit
  • Insurances
  • Statutory and regulatory reporting (ORIC / ACNC)
  • Financial monitoring and reporting
  • Risk management 
  • Preparation of the annual budgets

About you:

  • Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, including conflict management. 
  • Effective organisation, time-management skills. 
  • Ability to prioritise tasks. 
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written  
  • Appropriate accounting qualifications and either a current CPA or CA or   working towards these qualifications
  • Demonstrated financial management experience in an organisation of similar size and composition.
