The National Centre for Action on Child Sexual Abuse

Join Us as the New Chief Executive Officer of the National Centre for Action on Child Sexual Abuse.

Are you ready to lead transformative change and make a profound impact on the lives of victims and survivors of child sexual abuse? The National Centre for Action on Child Sexual Abuse (National Centre) is seeking an innovative and passionate Chief Executive Officer to drive our vision forward.

About Us

The National Centre was a key recommendation of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.

In November 2021, the Blue Knot Foundation, the Healing Foundation, and the Australian Childhood Foundation (Founding Members) were awarded funding by the Federal Government to establish the National Centre for Action on Child Sexual Abuse.

The National Centre is a symbol of hope and an essential vehicle for action for many victims and survivors of child sexual abuse. Its formation recognises the decades of advocacy by victims and survivors to be listened to, believed, validated, protected and ultimately supported to heal from the trauma they carry with them.

The National Centre aims to:

  • Commission Research: Focus on critical research to inform best practices.
  • Raise Awareness: Educate the community about child sexual abuse and reduce stigma.
  • Build Capability: Develop resources and training for effective responses.
  • Prevent Abuse: Implement strategies aiming to prevent child sexual abuse before it occurs.

Our values—Better, Together; Trustworthy; Driving Action; Inclusive; Bold—underpin everything we do.
