The National Centre for Action on Child Sexual Abuse is an independent, not-for-profit organisation established to increase understanding of child sexual abuse, promote effective ways for protecting children and guide and promote effective ways to support children and adults who have experience child sexual abuse.

Integral to the work of the National Centre is to harness knowledge to shape the services, care and support provided to victims and survivors of child sexual abuse. The Role

An experienced manager, you understand the human services delivery context and landscape and are motivated to make a lasting impact. A value's driven leader, the Manager Practice Development will drive the development of a trauma informed knowledge and learning landscape guiding high-quality and contemporary professional training and learning, knowledge exchange and capability building initiatives for different and broad audiences.

Working within a virtual team, the role is focused on fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration, leveraging digital platforms and technologies and driving simultaneous capability building projects and initiatives to improve outcomes for victims and survivors of child sexual abuse.

A creative and deep thinker, you are genuinely collaborative and solution oriented, and can bring a strategic mindset coupled with an ability to make things happen.

About You

  • Relevant qualification, knowledge and experience crafting and leading a training and professional learning capability building strategy within a digital environment.
  • Direct experience in and understanding of the practice and human services delivery context, landscape and complexities including abuse, trauma and victim impacts.
  • Demonstrated capacity to establish and maintain effective and influential relationships.
  • Digitally savvy, with experience using online learning platforms and technologies to deliver professional learning for broad access.
  • Experience collaboratively managing projects and programs of work, including estimating effort, planning activities, describing processes and tracking effort and progress.
  • Ability to work flexibly and responsively in a dynamic environment and guide a small cross functional team, managing multiple simultaneous projects.

Remuneration & Benefits
