The Nature Conservation Council of NSW is the state’s peak environment organisation, representing over 200 local, state and national environment organisations in NSW.
As the state’s leading environmental advocacy organisation, it is our mission to protect nature in NSW and create the conditions it needs to thrive.
Join us at NCC to make a significant impact on the protection of NSW’s environment, building relationships that sustain our vital work.
Our team is passionate about safeguarding natural ecosystems, and we're seeking a Key Relationships Officer who prefers their work with a side of purpose. You will support our fundraising efforts and help drive lasting environmental change.
Inspiration: we believe in the work we do and strive to inspire others to respect and protect nature.
Respect: we respect the views and opinions of others and consider, fairly and openly, views that might be different to our own.
Integrity: we are professional and honest in our working relationships, and transparent and accountable in our decision-making processes.
Collaboration: we believe we are stronger as a movement and value our culture of participation and building strong partnerships to achieve our goals.
Leadership: we provide leadership through empowerment, sound governance and an inspiring vision.
Recognition: we acknowledge the role First Nations People play in protecting the land and water. NCC undertakes to act in solidarity and partnership with First Nations People in all our work.
The Key Relationships Officer is responsible for stewardship of our small gift, major donors, and prospects.
Part time, 25 hours per week (12-month contract, potential for extension)
Salary: $85,300 (SCHCADS Award Level 4.1 [pro-rata])
You’re highly motivated, passionate about nature conservation, and have excellent communication skills. You are confident in building and maintaining relationships with donors and supporters, with an ability to inspire financial contributions. Your organising skills and ability to manage donor portfolios independently are key to success in this role. Education: Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience.
Location: Sydney, NSW OR remote OR hybrid
