About the role

Northside now has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team in Canberra on a full-time, Ongoing basis.

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Aged Care, the role will be responsible for the strategic operations and administrative coordination for Northside’s Aged Care business area. The role is critical to ensuring that all clients receive accurate, timely, and consistent services and support.

The key responsibilities and duties for the role will include (but not be limited to):

  • Provide leadership and support to employees around the administration and coordination of aged care services, including coordinating regular team meetings.
  • Coordinate professional development, training and supervision opportunities for employees, and ensure that all required employee training is up-to-date and meets industry standards.
  • In partnership with the Senior Manager – Aged Care and the Human Resources team, ensure clear management of performance concerns and creation of professional development plans in line with Northside’s approach to supporting performance;

About You

To be considered for this position you will need to meet the following criteria (but not limited to):

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social or Community Services, Allied or Public Health, or similar.
  • Significant experience in management, supervision and professional development of large, interdisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills with a proven experience of creating positive employee and client/customer experiences and people engagement.
  • Proven experience in contributing to the management of organisational change.

Northside is offering an attractive salary of $$92,694 - $96,804 per annum plus 10% superannuation.
