About the role

Northside now has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Manager (Aged Care) to join their team in Canberra on a full-time, ongoing basis.

Reporting to the Executive Director (Operations), the role will be responsible for ensuring Northside’s Aged Care program is meeting or exceeding legal, regulatory, quality and funding requirements.

The key responsibilities and duties for the role will include (but not be limited to):

  • Lead and manage the relevant program teams to achieve Northside’s strategic outcomes.
  • Ensure that all teams are provided with the supervision, support, knowledge, skills, and resources they require to safely and effectively perform their roles.
  • Ensure that the relevant program areas are meeting quality and compliance requirements (specifically, Aged Care Quality Standards and other relevant instruments).

About You

To be considered for this position you will need to meet the following criteria (but not limited to):

  • Relevant Bachelor level degree in Aged Care, Community Services or a relevant sector.
  • Demonstrated substantial experience (5 years plus) as a senior leader in Aged Care, community services, or similar field.
  • Demonstrated effective people leadership including the management of workplace culture, performance issues, complaints, and issues.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing funding applications, business plans and reports.
