• Part-Time, Permanent Position (0.5 FTE)
• Classification: Registered Nurse Level 2 with salary range of Level 2: $96,705 - $101,566; per annum pro rata + Superannuation or Health Professional Level 2 with a salary range of $91,706 - $102,613; per annum pro rate + Superannuation

About your new role

The Mental Health Clinical Support Coordinator will have a background in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or Psychology. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality mental health intake, assessment, triage, and referral services for individuals in the community who experience mental health issues and are seeking support. A priority of the role is to connect people seamlessly to the most appropriate local service to meet their identified needs, consistent with the 'stepped care' approach.

You will work as part of a collaborative team approach, supported by regular opportunities to reflect upon their practice and access comprehensive training and supervision.

What you will bring to the role

• Demonstrated experience in the provision of mental health assessment
• Experience delivering clinical and/or psychosocial support to consumers experiencing mental health concerns
• Experience working with client information systems, maintaining accurate documentation and data collection
• Formal tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy
• Current full registration as a Registered Nurse with current annual practicing certificate from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) essential or
• Current full registration as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse with annual practicing certificate from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) essential
• Compliant with Qld Health workplace health and safety requirements, including Requirements for Workers in Healthcare Settings.
