We're big believers in everyone having the opportunity to live a full life - and we give our all to support people to achieve wellbeing and mental health outcomes that matter to them. Everyone has different life goals, and at Neami, we walk alongside people to help improve their quality of life on their terms.
We're proud to support 30,000+ people living with mental health challenges each year across Australia and offer services over 40 different Indigenous lands. These services include mental health and wellbeing, housing and homelessness, and suicide prevention.
Together with our vision and purpose, our values define who we are and guide the way we operate. They are fundamental to our identity, and we align all our actions with them.
The Port Pirie Medicare Mental Health Centre offers a transdisciplinary approach with Peer Support Workers and Clinical Staff working as a team to walk alongside guests.
Mental Health Clinicians offer needs assessments and interventions using different discipline skills, to support mental health outcomes for guests accessing the service. Mental Health Clinicians offer short to medium term supports to assist the guest transition from the satellite service to holistic and integrated care in the community. This support will include clinical needs assessment, collaborative care planning and group facilitation where required.
Mental Health Clinician will have registration with the relevant accreditation body in the discipline field. It is a responsibility of Mental Health Clinicians to maintain all registration requirements and continuing professional development as below:
