The Neami Research, Engagement and Advocacy team oversees strategic development, research and evaluation, tenders and submissions, program design, consumer participation and advocacy and engagement. A key function of the Research, Engagement and Advocacy team is to ensure the organisation has the capacity and resources required to adapt and respond in a changing environment. A critical aspect of this is enhancing the capability of the organisation to implement evidence-based practice through a range of innovative projects.
The Research and Evaluation team supports activities and processes nationally that generate knowledge, answer questions and enhance understanding about what matters to the people Neami supports and where we can have impact. The team contributes to program logic modelling, synthesising literature, monitoring and evaluation design, measurement and survey design, and research activities.
Engage in research and evaluation activity and provide leadership and oversight of work within the Research and Evaluation team, including supervision and support of 3-6 staff working within the team. The role will support effective liaison and collaboration between R&E, people with living expertise and their supporters and families, external partners, and the rest of the organisation (including Service Design and Implementation, Quality and Consumer Experience, Learning and Development, IT, and service sites to:
