• Classification: SCHADS Level 6 with a salary range of $102,653 - $107,178 per annum + Superannuation

About your new role

The Service Manager (SM) will ensure the Living and Learning Centres in Strathpine and in Ipswich, provides safe and effective, immediate, and short to medium term responses to people experiencing severe and/or complex mental health issues. As the SM you will initiate, lead, and coordinate strategic partnerships within the community, including Area Mental Health Services, Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) services, local government, community housing, and health and welfare providers, to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for consumers. In collaboration with partners, staff, and consumers, the SM will identify service gaps in the local community and develop appropriate models of service delivery to address these gaps.

The SM will take a lead role in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Living and Learning Centres in Strathpine and Ipswich with the support of the Senior Manager Operations.

What you will bring to the role

• Relevant formal tertiary qualification.
• Experience working in cross cultural settings, especially with first nations people.
• Experience working within a recovery-oriented service.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Computer literacy and written communication skills
