We are seeking an experienced Receptionist and Centre Support Officer to join our team. This is a dynamic and rewarding role for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, building community connections and supporting service delivery by providing high quality, professional reception and administration service and support.
North East Community Support Group Inc (NECSG), is a non-profit community-based organisation in Zillmere auspicing three service programs: Zillmere Community Centre, Zillmere Family Accommodation Program and Zillmere Young People Support Service. Our mission is to provide quality community support programs in line with changing needs and services targeted to alleviate poverty, homelessness, distress, disability, isolation, and unemployment.
Zillmere Community Centre (ZCC) provides individual and community support to people living in Zillmere and surrounding suburbs and offers a place of welcome, acceptance and inclusion for all. Community members can access information and advice, a range of practical support, group activities and meeting spaces at the Zillmere Community Centre.
The Reception and Centre Support Officer is the primary role responsible for creating a welcoming space and ensuring smooth operations of the day to day functions of reception for the Zillmere Community Centre. This position provides the first point of contact for clients and visitors as well as information support to community members and groups who utilise and hire the centre.
In this role, you will deliver a welcoming and professional reception service for the Zillmere Community Centre and also provide support to the Team Leader in delivering events, projects and resources whilst also actively contributing to a positive and professional team environment.
The Reception and Centre Support Officer position is a permanent part-time position (dependent on continued funding) of 22 hours per week (Monday to Thursday from 9am – 3pm). The position is paid at the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services award Level 3 with salary sacrifice available. The Reception and Centre Support role will report to the Team Leader and work collaboratively and supportively with other staff and volunteers of the Zillmere Community Centre team.
