About the organisation

North East Community Support Group Inc (NECSG), is a non-profit community-based organisation in Zillmere delivering three main service programs: Zillmere Community Centre, Zillmere Family Accommodation Program and Zillmere Young People Support Service. Our mission is to equip and empower our community to thrive through connections, capacity building and access to services.

NECSG has supported families with accommodation since 1985. The Zillmere Family Accommodation Program (ZFAP) is a Specialist Homelessness Service funded by the Qld Government, providing temporary accommodation and case managed support to families who are experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness.

About the role

The Senior Case Manager’s role is a key role in the ZFAP team. In this position you will be working in a small, multi-disciplinary team, providing a holistic expert case management service to families who are vulnerable and often with complex needs while also supporting the team with your sector knowledge and expertise. In addition, you will work collaboratively with external agencies to advocate for solutions, to facilitate change and to increase wellbeing.

The Senior Case Manager position is a permanent part-time position, 32 hours per week (Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 5pm *inc. 30-minute lunch break). The position is paid at the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services award Level 5 with salary sacrifice available. The Senior Case Manager role will report to the Program Manager and work collaboratively and supportively with other staff and with volunteers.
