About the role:
We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to run our facility in the Southern Suburbs.
This unique role can either be permanent part time or full time with some flexibility to work from home in between service times.
- Develop and manage programs providing direct care services to clients.
- Provide oversight and direction to the Nepean Centre team, to ensure support and services to assist people to live with dignity in the community in control of their lives.
- Develop and review strategic and business planning, and lead projects to progress the continued growth of Nepean Centre Inc
- Promote a clear vision of quality in services and supports, reviewing and monitoring quality and leading innovation and continuous improvement.
- Promote the Nepean Centre through networking events and the development of formal and informal networks.
- Responsible for development and delivery of services within the budget.
- Ensures that resources are being used as efficiently as possible to deliver budgeted support, and that over-delivery of support is managed within agreed parameters.
The successful candidate will:

- Have highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Have sound organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.

Position Criteria:
- Knowledge of and experience dealing with relevant community networks and relevant legislation, such as the NDIS
- At least 2 years of people management and/or project management experience
- Qualified or studying towards an ACWA or ACECQA approved qualification
- Experience in implementing new projects, meeting time and budget constraints
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid Victorian Working with Children Check
- Current First aid and CPR certificate
- Current Victorian Driver’s License
- Satisfactory National Police Certificate obtained within the last 6 months.
Salary Expectations:
- $1,377-$1886.76 Weekly (pro-rata)
