about the role

The role of Customer Service Representative comprises three main functions:

  • Reception / front desk
  • Call centre
  • Administration & support

Staff will be required to function effectively and meet reasonable KPIs in all 3 areas of responsibility. Staff will also rotate through all Nexus locations (Wallan, Broadford, Seymour and occasionally Kinglake) within rostered opening hours and may be asked to back up their colleagues to cover leave.

These roles will ideally fill shifts from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am to 1.30pm however from time to time may be required to work weekends or after hours.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in multi-tasking in a busy environment.
  • Great communication skills and an ability to think on your feet.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • A background in retail, hospitality or similar. Some background in health and community services would be preferred but is not essential.
  • Well-developed administration and organisational skills.
  • Competence in working with computers and MD Office suite.
  • A current driver's licence and vehicle and be able to travel between Nexus sites when required.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 20 - 24 hours per week. Penalty rates apply for after-hours and weekend work.
  • Received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
