fka Children's Services promotes the rights of all children to actively participate in high-quality early childhood education and care that recognises, values and celebrates diversity.
fkaCS provides on-site and online coaching, mentoring, and professional learning support to build the capacity of early childhood teachers and Victorian early years services.
This role will promote fkaCS by creating engaging content, managing various communication channels, and fostering relationships with stakeholders to raise awareness and support of the services purpose, mission, and vision. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and partners, driving the success of fkaCS projects, member events, newsletters, social media, the website and press releases.

The role requires a proven track record of developing, implementing and managing communication strategies combined with strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build and maintain positive relationships.
You’re able to demonstrate your ability to align strategies with overall organisational direction, combined with the tailoring of communication materials and campaigns to diverse audiences, including stakeholders, media, and the general public.
You have an awareness of industry trends and best practices including familiarity with emerging digital tools and technologies, including website SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics. You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including sourcing, copywriting, editing and liaising with designers. A relevant degree in communications, or a related field, would be highly regarded.
