The Role

Reporting to the Data & Business Insights Manager, you will work in a team of other data administrators and specialists responsible for the Foundation's donor database and associated systems. Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing support to marketing and fundraising functions by delivering highly targeted and segmented data for campaigns using Raisers Edge and/or established SQL queries
  • Using existing python scripts to prepare data
  • Building and running data imports, ensuring best practice standards are delivered
  • Driving excellent data integrity and data management processes, within and across the CRM and other platforms
  • Contributing to segmentation discussions for reporting and analytics purposes
  • Focussing on mitigating risk by supporting, establishing and abiding by best practice data procedures
  • Assisting with achieving the 5-year data strategy, working alongside senior stakeholders

Skills Required

You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a data management role, ideally using Raisers Edge or a similar CRM. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of best practice data processes and be keen to learn and upskill your analytics knowledge. You will also possess:

  • Excellent CRM systems experience with the ability to build and export complex queries
  • A critical thinker, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a commitment to accuracy
  • Talent for analysing and improving data processes and procedures
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related information technology field preferred
  • Collaborative and consultative in style, with solid communication skills, particularly when explaining data
  • Project management skills, including working with fundraising data sets
