The Role

As a key member of the Global Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in driving impact and knowledge sharing strategy across the organisation.

Leading the strategic oversight and execution of the Research, Monitoring & Evaluation and Learning (RMEL), Knowledge Sharing, Clinical Support, and Risk and Sustainability functions, you’ll drive evidence-based decision making to ensure continuous improvement and excellence across Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) and Remote Community Development (RCD) programmes.

With a commitment to strengthening localisation, your focus will be to provide:

  • Leadership, guidance and capacity building across all teams
  • Strategic and programmatic support to clinical, M&E and knowledge sharing teams
  • Key insights to ensure impact, quality, best practice and inform strategic decisions
  • Expansion of Adara’s reach, influence and impact through knowledge sharing

Skills Required

You’re a visionary and influential leader with experience in programme management, and in research, measurement and evaluation methodologies formed within public health, international development, or a related field, ideally with a focus on MNCH or RCD programmes.

With proven ability to translate strategy into action, you’re skilled at engaging others in your vision and working collaboratively to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders across a range of geographic regions. Additionally, you have:

  • A track record of successfully managing large-scale development programs and initiatives
  • Expertise in designing, conducting, and analysing research
  • Willingness, fitness and ability to travel internationally approximately twice per year
