The Organisation

Youth Off The Streets is a not-for-profit youth services organisation that supports children and young people aged 12–24 who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness and complex disadvantage. Since being founded by Father Chris Riley over 30 years ago, Youth Off The Streets has grown from a single food van to an organisation that provides holistic support services for children and young people in NSW and QLD. These include crisis accommodation and housing services, independent high schools, cultural and wellbeing support for First Nations young people, alcohol and other drugs counselling, youth justice support, training and employment programs, life skills workshops and drop-in centres, among other services.
