About the NLC

We are responsible for assisting Aboriginal people in the Top End of the Northern Territory to acquire and manage their lands and seas. Our vision is to ensure that Aboriginal people benefit socially, culturally and economically from the secure possession of their land, waters and seas.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for 2 positions. Under the direction of the Senior Reporting & Compliance Officer, the Reporting & Compliance Officers will be responsible for all compliance and reporting requirements associated with NLC’s Indigenous Economic Stimulus Package to ensure that the NLC remains compliant with all funding requirements, project activities and deliverables.

About you

To thrive in this role/s you will have:

  • Working towards completion of CPA or CA qualifications, with experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and preparing funding applications including service agreements and variations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Work well under pressure in order to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational skills, good attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.

Remuneration and Benefits:

  • 2 x Full Time - 6 month contracts maybe subject to extension, both will be based in Darwin
  • Salary P02 - SPO ($75,006 - $101,668) per annum plus allowances
  • FBT exempt salary packaging benefits
  • 13% superannuation contribution
  • 5 weeks annual leave & 17.5% annual leave loading
