About the Role

In this role, you will support Aboriginal applicants in the NLC Region enquiring and applying for NTAIC grants. You'll provide invaluable advice and assistance to those enquiring about and applying for Northern Territory Aboriginal Investment Corporation (NTAIC) grants.

As a Senior Support Officer NTAIC grants, you will report to the Manager, Regional & Business Support and you will be responsible for guiding potential applicants through the application process, referring them to appropriate organisations for project planning support, and assisting in finalising their funding submissions.

Additionally, you'll provide regular reports and briefings on the support provided, ensuring that applicants have the best possible chance of success. You will work in a highly engaged team environment with a great support structure.

What you will Bring

As a Senior Support Officer NTAIC Grants, you'll excel in liaising and coordinating across the organisation, building strong relationships with colleagues, constituents, government agencies, and external stakeholders. With your financial management experience and commitment to confidentiality, you'll protect sensitive information.

Additionally, your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with your ability to manage HR matters, set priorities, and meet deadlines, will ensure your success in this role. In addition to this we are looking for:

  • Diploma of Business Administration, Finance or equivalent qualification or minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proven success in implementing project/program management activities to a high standard, with an ability to harness resources to effectively plan, coordinate and manage activities.
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence and the ability and willingness to undertake remote travel in a manual 4WD vehicle or light aircraft.
  • A professional understanding of grant compliance, financial reporting, budgeting cash flow, grant monitoring and evaluation is highly desirable.

We offer:

  • A base salary of $79,903 per annum plus 14% superannuation and salary sacrificing up to $15,900 + Meal Entertainment and Holiday Accommodation benefits up to $2,650 per year.
  • Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include:
  • District allowance of up to $9,411 per annum for individuals with dependents and $5,826 without dependents.
  • 5 weeks annual leave, leaving loading, 15 days personal leave;
  • Paid Christmas close down;
  • Upon completion of 12 months of service an Annual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $2,724;
