An exciting opportunity exists in our small and dynamic Katherine Office for a Senior Civil Solicitor and Project Manager. The Commission is funded until 30 June 2023 to undertake a Health Justice Partnership with the Katherine Individual Support Pathway. Under this partnership, vulnerable and chronically ill people in Katherine receive tailored support, including legal assistance where applicable, to help address the issues underlying their health needs.

The successful applicant will manage the project, work closely with the social support worker as part of the project and, where necessary, provide direct legal assistance.

Employees of the Commission have similar working conditions to that of the Northern Territory Public Service. The Commission also offers generous salary packaging arrangements.
