About the Opportunity

The Procurement Officer is responsible for supporting the procurement of services and activities for NT PHN. This is achieved through a best practice approach to the sourcing and procurement of services in line with NT PHN procurement policies and procedures.

About the role

Reporting to the Procurement Business Partner, the Procurement Officer is accountable for:

  • Coordinating procurement and evaluation processes in accordance with NT PHN policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining a best practice approach to procurement through the application of standardised procedures incorporating probity, due diligence, risk, and conflict of interest.
  • Coordinating and administering an integrated and timely tender and procurement service to ensure successful and efficient commissioning in accordance with defined timeframes.
  • Contributing to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of best practice processes, procedures and systems relating to procurement and contract management to support the successful delivery of high-level program outcomes.
  • Supporting documentation, tracking, and reporting on all procurement activities.
  • Engaging in a partnership approach with key internal and external stakeholders to promote a shared understanding and application of procurement within NT PHN commissioning processes, including provision of advice, education, and development activities to support improved capacity and successful commissioning outcomes for NT PHN.
  • Support the Procurement team to achieve organisational priorities as required.
