OARS CT deliver innovative and successful rehabilitation services. Due to an internal transfer, we are looking for an experienced human services professional to both coordinate and participate in the delivery of one of our successful programs,

In this instance we are seeking a 0.6 FTE. Office hours are 08:00 until 17:00 each day but we can offer flexibility over five days to accommodate your work-life balance, e.g., working within school hours. Due to the outreach nature of our work, we provide pool cars for all client related travel as part of our safe working systems.

Our “Circle of Support and Accountability” or “COSA” program is specifically designed to provide personalised support and guidance to our clients, facilitating a safe and successful reintegration into society for individuals who have previously committed sexual offences.

Applications are welcomed from individuals with experience in counselling, program management/ coordination and/ or social justice. This program operates out of our Franklin Street/ City office and our Christies Beach Office, so some flexibility of location is available after induction and training are completed. A full handover with the existing postholder and ongoing support are available.

Applications are by Resume and a cover letter which lists and addresses these five key criteria:

  1. Qualification, ideally to a degree level, in a human services discipline and/ or significant relevant experience 
  2. Experience delivering counselling or case management
  3. Experience coordinating either a program and/ or volunteers
  4. Experience and/ or an interest in social justice, criminal justice and/ or reducing recidivism would be beneficial.
  5. Candidates must be double vaccinated and have a full SA drivers licence

A copy of the job and person specification is available on our website www.oars.org.au, the role is Level 5 within the SCHADS Award which is currently $84,854 to $88,693 per annum (pro rata). Above Award leave entitlements, which are 22 days annual and 12 days sick leave per annum, and salary sacrifice is applicable.
