Position Overview:

  • Location: Torquay Office with work-from-home flexibility
  • Employment Type: Part-time (22.8 hours/week) worked flexibly during the week.
  • Contract: 1 year

Your Role: As our Marketing Coordinator, you’ll be the driving force behind our brand awareness and outreach efforts. You’ll craft the Ocean Mind story, create engaging content, develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies, and utilise a mix of traditional and digital media to amplify our message.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a compelling brand narrative.
  • Generate engaging content for various platforms including website, social media, press releases, and emails.
  • Create and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy.
  • Use traditional media, social media, and digital advertising to reach new audiences.
  • Monitor marketing performance metrics and adapt strategies for optimal results.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing or communications (non-profit experience a plus).
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a knack for storytelling.
  • Experience in content creation (photography, videography, graphic design a plus).
  • Social media marketing savvy, both organic and paid.
  • Proficient with digital marketing tools like Google Analytics and email marketing platforms.
  • Passionate about Ocean Mind’s mission.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
