Role Overview:

As the Mornington Peninsula Program Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our expansion into this vibrant community. We're on the lookout for a candidate with strong ties to the local Mornington Peninsula community, someone who understands its unique dynamics and is passionate about making a positive impact. Working closely with local stakeholders, you'll bring our transformative surf programs to life. This role offers a blend of weekday and weekend commitments, providing flexibility in working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and lead the execution of Ocean Mind surf programs in Mornington Peninsula.
  • Network and engage the local community, driving referrals to our life-changing programs.
  • Serve as the primary contact for support workers, young people, and their families.
  • Ensure a positive and enriching experience for young participants during sessions.
  • Guarantee the safe delivery of all activities in line with Ocean Mind policies.
  • Recruit, train, and support local volunteers, ensuring compliance.
  • Act as an ambassador for Ocean Mind, advocating for our programs, ethos, and values.
  • Identify fundraising opportunities through events, grants, and other channels.
  • Establish networks and partnerships with local organisations to advance our mission.
