The Executive Officer provides a range of executive support and administrative services to facilitate the delivery of operational, business and strategic planning activities and projects, and to support the Executive Team’s achievement of organisational objectives.

This includes drafting briefings, business cases and correspondence, supporting service improvements such as accreditation, providing data support and analysis, facilitating board reporting, and uplifting knowledge management through the staff intranet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational support to the CEO and Executive team to achieve organisational objectives and successful projects.
  • Preparing a range of executive level documents including but not limited to briefings, business cases, correspondence, presentations and board reports as required.
  • Support in developing, implementing, and monitoring the Strategic and Operational Plans.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives and projects, such as accreditation.
  • Work with the Business Intelligence & Data Analyst to undertake routine data maintenance procedures, as well as provide analysis to identify trends and insights that inform performance improvement strategies.

Skills/Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in executive and/or corporate support in a health or related organisation.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with excellent attention to details and the ability to engage and manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in utilising and supporting data (such as demonstrated Excel skills or equivalent).
  • Experience developing a range of documentation, including briefings, reports, correspondence, and business cases.
  • Demonstrated high level analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to provide advice and recommendations.
  • Proven abilities in organisation, prioritisation, flexibility and the ability to work to deadlines.

The salary range for this role is $86,000-91,000 per year + superannuation. As a registered charity, Odyssey House NSW is also able to provide Salary Packaging for this role.
