The Case Manager & Group Facilitator: Discovery AOD Day Program is responsible for supporting the coordinator in the creation and maintenance of a safe therapeutic environment. The key purpose of the position is to implement and review an evidence-based program that assists participants to establish healthier relationships and lifestyles free of problematic alcohol and drug use.
The Therapeutic Day Rehabilitation Program provides both a 5-week holistic treatment and aftercare service for clients who attend the program daily, and a 4-week online program with aftercare for participants. It incorporates cognitive therapy, behavioural structures, and case planning within a physically/online and psychologically safe environment, enhancing and encouraging individual motivation for change.
