If so, this could be the role for you

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer Victoria, this role is responsible for leading and delivering a full suite of HR generalist operational services to the Victorian business.

 Your role will include:

  • The provision of timely and sound HR advice and guidance across the Employee Lifecycle, including onboarding, engaging and managing staff, performance improvement, performance management, disciplinary processes, and formal complaints and grievances.
  • Managing investigations and employee complaints ensuring thorough investigations that meet legislative requirements and observe the principles of procedural fairness.
  • Providing support and leadership and building capability through coaching, mentoring and supporting managers with performance management. 
  • Develop and lead the implementation of wellbeing and engagement initiatives designed to support ONCALL’s workforce strategy.  

To be considered you will need:

  • Resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and/or a related discipline required.
  • Demonstrated HR experience within the Disability, Community Services, or Heath sectors.
  • Considerable experience working with and interpreting legislation and the SCHADS award.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and supporting workplace performance management discussions and investigations.
  • Strong leadership and consultation capabilities, with the ability to support and build local capability and skills.
  • The desire to be an agent of change to make a positive difference to the culture of an organisation that makes an impact on the lives of people with disability.
