DIVTEC Training College (DIVTEC) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) who is regulated by Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). ASQA ensures that Vocational Educational and Training (VET) courses meet nationally approved standards based on industry, enterprise, education, legislative and community needs.
DIVTEC is a boutique RTO that provides specialised training in community care, individual support, disability as well as allied health. We have access to State Government funding which provides subsidised training to eligible students and are able to offer traineeships. We also provide a High School pathway program to prepare students to be ‘job ready’ when leaving Year 12.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified health Trainer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality vocational education and training to students pursuing a career in allied health and health support services across a range of workplaces and school classrooms
What We’re Looking For:
- Hold a TAE40122 or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher or the previous TAE40110 plus TAELLN411/TAELLN401A and TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B (mandatory), or desire to complete this qualification
- At least 3 years of experience in delivering vocational education and training in health-related subjects (desirable).
- Strong knowledge of industry requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hold a minimum of Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or Certificate II in Health Support Services
- Have demonstrable industry experience in the Health Industry
- Have a minimum 5 years recent industry experience across the Health and or Aged Care and/or Disability sectors
- Assessors must satisfy the Standards for Registered Training Organisations requirements for assessors, and:
- be a Certificate IV qualified Allied Health Assistant with a minimum of three years of professional experience in allied health services; or a registered Allied Health Professional.
- Have demonstrated knowledge in the achievement of client learning outcomes and high-level client participation, retention and completion rates.
- Have an effective and flexible training delivery style that delivers positive outcomes across disadvantaged and culturally diverse clients with a priority focus on quality
- Applicants must have the ability to complete a Police Check and hold a Working With Vulnerable People Check.
- Positive Notice Blue Card Working with Children Check is a pre-requisite to employment.
- A current drivers license and own transport
- The successful candidate must have experience, have exceptional interpersonal skills, be customer focused, show flexibility and be a team player. Your strong attention to detail and personable and helpful manner will be essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging vocational education and training programs in health-related subjects at Certificate II & III levels.
- Assess student learning and progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure successful course completion.
- Mentor and guide students, helping them achieve their career aspirations.
- Collaborate with industry partners to ensure our students transition smoothly into their chosen careers.
Duties include:
- Deliver all aspects of accredited training and assessment in accordance with Standards for RTO's and the Australian Qualifications Framework specifications within a classroom and workplace environment.
- Deliver training, assessment and support to students in Allied Health and Health Support Services throughout the course and during their placements
- Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback
- Work with other Health and Aged Care and Disability organisations to assist students to placements and employment
- Be able to deliver engaging interactive training to various student cohorts in an online, classroom or workplace setting
- Working as part of a team to continuously moderate, develop, review and enhance training resources and work processes.
- Responding to questions, providing coaching/support and resolving issues.
- Inducting students to the Learning Management System (Moodle) as part of the enrolment process (explaining processes and demonstrating website and online learning tools). If you are unfamiliar with Moodle, training will be provided
- Associated training, assessment and administration tasks as required

Renumeration
The base rate for this position is upwards of $75,000 per annum plus superannuation (negotiable based on skills and experience if you already have your TAE)
