Kinchela Boys Home Aboriginal Corporation (KBHAC) is a Not-for-Profit, Aboriginal community-controlled organisation established to help restore and reconstruct the identity, dignity, and integrity of Aboriginal men who were forcibly removed from their families and put into Kinchela Boys Home (KBH). We address intergenerational trauma affecting the lives of Stolen Generations Survivors, their families, and descendants.
About the Role
We are seeking a candidate who identifies as a First Nations person to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Programs Lead, you will:
- Oversee the management, supervision, and professional development of KBHAC Program Managers and Team Leaders.
- Lead the development, evaluation, and expansion of new and existing programs aligned with KBHAC’s mission and values.
- Ensure continuous quality improvement, compliance, and reporting for all programs.
- Collaborate with KBHAC’s Leadership Team to contribute to strategic planning, operational management, and community engagement.
About You
We are seeking a candidate who has:
- Experience working within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-led organisations.
- Relevant qualifications in management, operations, or leadership.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams and leading change.
- Knowledge of financial data management and compliance (e.g., NDIS, aged care).
- A trauma-informed background and the ability to support staff and clients.
