A new and exciting clinical leadership role to support the extension of Orygen Digital’s Moderated Online Social Therapy platform specifically supporting young people aged 12-14.
In order to provide a developmentally appropriate service to a younger demographic and further support the expansion of Orygen Digital’s Moderated Online Social Therapy (MOST) platform, an additional MOST platform is under development to be accessed by young people aged 12-14. This requires the oversight of a Senior Clinician with specific experience in clinical interventions for this age group, and experience with Victorian youth mental health services such as The Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) and The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and Early in Life Mental Health Service (ELMHS).
The MOST platform, is the first single digital solution specifically designed to integrate with, and address, the key limitations of current youth mental health services. It has been designed with and for young people and existing services, providing clinicians with evidence-based tools that can be used across the diagnostic and severity spectrums and all stages of treatment.
If you have a passion for the field of youth mental health and want to make a real difference to the lives of young people and their families and share Orygen’s values of respect, accountability, teamwork, excellence and innovation, then we would love you to join the Orygen team to revolutionise youth mental health.
Part-time / full-time (0.6 – 1.0 FTE) fixed term position available until 30 June 2023, with potential for further employment.
This exciting Senior Clinician opportunity will lead a large multidisciplinary team of clinicians, peer support workers and vocational specialists to engage with young people across the MOST platform and support their clinical outcomes.
The Senior Clinician will provide clinical supervision and train, monitor and support the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality and safe practice. This role will also provide significant input on the continued development of the MOST application and service model and associated materials as required, whilst providing input on its implementation within clinical settings.
This is a unique opportunity to help transform the youth mental health service system through the development of online clinical therapy that is unique, innovative, evidence-based and engaging.
