About the role

  • Full time (Part time - 0.8FTE will be considered)
  • Hybrid and remote working arrangements available
  • Fixed term to July 2025
  • $71,365 - $75,483 plus 11.5% superannuation and 17.5% annual leave loading

The role of Program Support Officer (PSO) plays a key role in supporting all enquiries and event management across the Prevention in Action directorate (PIA) and Our Watch Institute, including working with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and assisting with the establishment, implementation and automation of systems and processes.
This role is required to support reporting requirements for PIA and Our Watch Institute as required and assisting with the administration of a panel of facilitators who will be delivering quality training and products for the Our Watch Institute.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • a minimum of two years’ experience in similar roles supporting program delivery through performing a range of administrative activities
  • proven ability in establishing and setting up systems and processes to support program delivery, including but not limited to scheduling (events and personnel), administrative process and systems, resource allocation and creating automated processes that are user friendly, efficient and allow for quick analysis and integration into wider organisational reporting
  • experience in the use of Asana and Office 365 suite (including Teams, Power Automate, Planner, Smartsheet and Excel) and the establishing of workflow, processes and systems in these systems (highly desirable).
  • experience or a strong ability to support and train staff to use systems and processes consistently.
  • lead on writing reports (including basic data visualisation) which require minimal editing and guidance
  • a passion and interest in gender equality and the prevention of violence against women as well as exposure and understanding of the community and Not for Profit sector in Australia.
