We have an amazing leadership role based in our Goodna Queensland Office (with travel to other offices when required) or candidate can be in Toowoomba and operate out of our Toowoomba office 

This role is pivotal in leading a team & being responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the program as well as fostering a supportive environment for all staff.

The Team Leader will support the operational delivery of business outcomes and improvement for Queensland Services including supervising 7 staff within the QLD General Foster and Kinship care program. The incumbent will contribute to the focus on identifying and addressing opportunities for improvement informed through business analysis; represent the QLD Services programs and its teams with internal and external stakeholders in line with OzChild culture and behaviours.

Essential requirements:

• A sector related bachelor’s degree qualification
• Significant relevant organisational leadership and operational management experience.
• Post graduate qualification would be highly regarded

Experience:

• A strong background effectively managing a team with Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role  
• Experience in managing the operations of multiple programs
• Strong analytical skills supported by sold professional judgement
• Experience in engaging and managing stakeholders
• Direct involvement working with organisation wide strategy
• Directing and contributing to policy, process and system reviews
• Involvement in the delivery or understanding of evidence-based programs or therapeutic models of intervention
• Direct involvement in implementing new programs in a community services setting
• Highly developed skills in change management & negotiation
• High level written and verbal communication and can manage conflict resolution and complaints effectively

• SCHCADS Level 7.3  $119,871.96 plus super 
• Salary packaging $15,900 plus the ability to salary package also meals & entertainment of $2,650
